THE father of a 16 year old girl who died at Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital after being hit in the head with a golf ball blames the public hospital system for her death. Warren Anderson today told a New South Wales parliamentary inquiry that nothing had changed in the two years since his daughter Vanessa's death in November 2005. Mr Anderson has outlined a list of alleged failings in his daughter's treatment, including an over tired doctor and nurse and the disappearance of her scans. He said if he and his wife Michelle knew then what they know now about the hospital, he never would have allowed Vanessa through the emergency department doors.
